Questions

Why per company instead of per person?

Because a production roster is a bench, not a headcount. You might carry 115 names and book 20 in a slow week. Per-seat pricing punishes you for keeping people on file. A flat fee means you add everyone and never think about it again.

Do crew members need paid seats?

No. Crew log in from their phones to see their schedule, answer availability checks, confirm shifts and clock in. They are not manager logins and they are not billed.

Can I bring my roster from Nowsta, Connecteam or a spreadsheet?

Yes. Export it from your current system and import the file. Tinds recognizes the common column names, cleans phone numbers and PINs, and handles the one-row-per-role exports some systems produce. You see a preview before anything is saved.

What happens if I cancel?

Download a full backup and your roster and timesheets as CSV from Settings, any time, no request needed. Your workspace stays readable until the end of the paid period.

What counts as a site?

A site is a venue or location you schedule crew to, each with its own address, time zone and colour. Crew includes one. If you work out of one shop or one venue, that is all you need. If you call crew to a different venue every week, you want Production, where sites are unlimited.

What happens when we outgrow Crew?

Nothing breaks and nothing is deleted. You will see the limit the moment you reach it, on the roster, on sites or on manager logins, and the features held for Production are visible in the app with a plain description of what they do. Move up whenever it is worth it; the change takes effect the same day and everything you have entered is already there.

Is payroll included?

No. Tinds produces approved timesheets and a detailed CSV that your payroll provider can take, on every plan. Running payroll inside Tinds is a separate add-on still in development, and we will not bill you for it until it exists.

Is there a contract?

Monthly plans are month to month. Annual plans are paid up front for the year and get two months free. Enterprise is an annual agreement with a scope attached.

Where does my data live?

In a dedicated database for your company, hosted in the United States, reachable only by logins you create. Nobody at another company can see your data, and Tinds staff access it only to support you.
